Melinda Angel
I’m Melinda Angel, co-founder of Angel’s Exterior, a woman and minority-owned roofing and
exterior company based in Wisconsin. My husband Reynaldo and I started this business with no
investors, no fancy safety net—just a shared dream, a lot of grit, and a vision to build something
that could change our family’s future.

Reynaldo leads our labor operations as our Head Project Manager and our go-to “roof
whisperer.” He’s a hands-on expert with a background in building maintenance and blueprint
reading, and he’s the one you’ll find walking roofs, running final checks, and mentoring the next
generation of tradesmen. I manage the business, oversee our branding, client care, community
involvement, and work relentlessly behind the scenes to build systems and strategy that keep us
growing.
Together, we’re raising six sons (yes—six!) and doing our best to model hard work, purpose, and
perseverance. Our family is our “why.” We want to give our boys opportunities we didn’t have
and show them what it looks like to build something meaningful from the ground up.
I got into this business because I wanted more. More time with my family. More freedom. More
control over our future. I wanted to prove that women belong in construction—not just on the
sidelines, but making decisions, leading teams, and changing the game. That’s why Angel’s
Exterior doesn’t just offer roofing and exterior services—we offer transparency, empowerment,
and education. Especially for women and families who’ve been made to feel overwhelmed by
the home improvement process.
We’re proud to be WBE, MBE, and SBE certified, and serve both residential and commercial
clients across the state of Wisconsin. Our services range from flat roofing systems like TPO,
EPDM, and Dec-Tec to asphalt shingles, coatings, gutters, siding, and preventative seasonal
maintenance.
Beyond roofing, we are deeply invested in our community. We’ve organized donation drives for
local organizations like DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services), attended school career
fairs to inspire young students to consider trades, and constantly look for ways to give back and
uplift the next generation.
Our future goals? To continue growing Angel’s Exterior into one of Wisconsin’s most trusted
roofing partners, open training and mentorship opportunities for women in construction, and
build a legacy of faith, resilience, and impact—for our family, our clients, and our community.
